This privacy policy applies to Buntu Wellbeing Experience Network ("BWEN", "we", "us", "our") and the website b-wen.com. BWEN is registered in Uganda, with its primary operating address at Opp. Yesu Amala, Kiguli Road, P.O.Box 150212, Kampala.

Where this policy refers to "you" or "your", it means any person interacting with the b-wen.com website — including visitors, donors, prospective investors, partners, and members of our network.
We collect personal information directly from you (when you submit a form, donate, or contact us) and indirectly through analytics on our website. The categories of data we collect are:

We do not collect: payment card numbers (these are handled by our payment processors directly), government-issued IDs except where required for investor KYC (handled separately, off-site), or sensitive personal information unless you voluntarily provide it.

BWEN is based in Uganda. Several of our service providers (Netlify, Donorbox, Stripe, Plausible, etc.) are based in the United States, the European Union, or other jurisdictions. By using our website and services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
Where required by GDPR or equivalent law, we ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved transfer mechanisms with each service provider.
BWEN's website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please email enquiries@b-wen.com immediately and we will delete it.
For school programs and youth-led initiatives that BWEN runs offline, we maintain separate consent and safeguarding protocols which are not the subject of this website privacy policy.
